Outstanding leadership, culture and growth make these second-stage businesses stand-out:

In recognizing its achievements, Young Innovators Academy announces its selection as one of the top 50 second-stage companies in Florida. This recognition is because of its outstanding achievements. This recognition is part of the 13th Annual GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Honorees. It showcases the company’s excellence and contribution to the business landscape. Because of this achievement, the company is highlighted as an exemplary player in the business community. This statewide awards program identifies companies expected to experience significant growth over the next several years because of their exceptional performance and potential. Duke Energy and Nperspective CFO & Strategic Services collaborate to bring you the celebration. This marks the 13th Annual GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch awards, highlighting outstanding businesses in the state and recognizing their potential for significant growth. In association with the Edward Lowe Foundation, the event takes place.

The Edward Lowe Foundation developed Companies to Watch as a unique way to recognize and honor second-stage companies. These companies demonstrate high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes. Because of their outstanding efforts, they stand out as leaders in their respective industries.. In addition to evaluating past growth and projected success, we assess applicant companies.

This assessment is based on their special strengths and impact in their markets, communities, and within the state. As a result, it deems them worth watching.
An esteemed panel of past Honorees, economic development leaders, and corporate partners of GrowFL conducted a final round of judging. This ensured a comprehensive evaluation of the participating companies and their potential for significant growth. Additionally, the potential for significant growth was assessed through a final round of judging. This round aimed to select the 50 honorees from the 71 finalists announced earlier this year because of their outstanding achievements and potential for significant growth.
Judges assessed companies based on several criteria. These criteria included growth in the number of employees and impact on the job market. Additionally, they considered an increase in sales and/or unit volume. They also examined current and past financial reports, assessed the innovativeness of the product or service, evaluated the response to adversity, and considered contributions to aid community-oriented projects.
These comprehensive evaluations helped identify businesses with exceptional potential for significant growth.
“Jennifer Taylor, President, and CEO of GrowFL, said that they designed GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to shine a spotlight on the deserving second-stage businesses in their state.” Second-stage companies are the lifeblood of our economy, creating jobs and fueling prosperity.

This diverse group spans 20 different counties and represents 18 different industries. Additionally, 32% of them are woman, veteran, or minority-owned, proving that Florida is a place where entrepreneurs can thrive. We look forward to celebrating their success for years to come.”

Students entering the workforce will have to be ready for a constantly evolving job market because it demands adaptability and continuous learning. They will also need to be self-directed, creative, and independent. And, the Young Innovators curriculum taps into a child’s natural abilities as an innovator to preserve the creative confidence of the early years. As a company built for educators by educators, we provide childcare professionals with career and ownership opportunities to give women in the industry the respect they deserve.
