Emotional Connection and
Responsive Caregiving

Babies and toddlers explore and learn through their senses. Our research-based curriculum is designed around early brain development and provides opportunities to explore the world around them placing an emphasis on social emotional development.

Program Highlights

A CULTURE THAT PROMOTES JOYFUL LEARNING AND PLAY.

Our Reggio Emilia inspired infant and toddler classrooms are designed to engage infants and toddlers as a third teacher. Our learning environment, classroom routines, group experiences, emergent curriculum, and documentation boards reflect on the individualized learning journeys.

  • Our curriculum takes into consideration all facets of a child’s growth and development to connect both sides of the brain.

  • Establish an appropriate starting point for each student and set weekly and long-term goals with Individualized learning paths to help infants and toddlers develop milestones.

  • Our program introduces the fundamentals of STEM education by introducing intentional experiences that allow infants and toddlers to use their senses and investigate the world around them through hands-on explorations.

  • From daily journals to class projects and portfolios, our documentation boards are visible in the school for revisiting and reflections.
  • We introduce provocations as an experience set up in response to a child’s interests and ideas.
  • We offer a language-rich environment with resources to support language development.
  • Social-emotional lesson plans help infants and toddlers develop life skills, develop impulse control, and enhance social interactions.
  • We integrate stories and music throughout the day as music is an important part of our program.
  • Our sign language program allows children to communicate their wants and needs using sign language.
  • Infants and toddlers get an early start in developing their motor skills with activities to enhance an infant’s physical development.
