Covid-19 Safety Guidelines
DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCEDURES
Our new routines for drop-off and pick-up are designed to ensure everyone in our School stays healthy and safe. In order to minimize traffic at the school, parents are may not enter the school for drop off our pick up. An administrator will pick your child at the front door for drop off and pick up. At the foyer, an administration will conduct a quick health screening to ensure your child does not have a fever above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or other flu-like symptoms. A designated teacher will take your child to and from the classroom. For pick-up, a teacher will bring your child to the foyer. Pick up will take place at certain hours.
CLASSROOM PROCEDURES
Keeping small class sizes and the same group of children. For added safety, different classes will not interact with one another, and all special events and visitors will be postponed until further notice. There will be no large group activities or classrooms combined throughout the day.
FACE COVERINGS
We have provided all Schools with guidance and best practices about wearing face coverings at School. Along with our guidance, Schools must follow local health and state guidelines to ensure they’re compliant with health and safety orders.
KEEPING AREAS CLEAN We will implement an even more rigorous cleaning routine and conduct professional cleaning, and all high-touch surfaces and objects will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.
FOOD PREP PROCEDURES
We will discontinue family-style servings at snack time at the cafeteria. The teachers will serve children individually.
PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING We will practice social distancing in the classroom throughout the day. Your children will remain in the classroom or on the playground with their teachers and classmates.
ENTRANCE SCREENING
Prior to entering the school, every staff member must be screened for the illness. ·For each person who has been screened, documentation of the screening must be recorded using a Health Screening Log. Any staff exhibiting the above-mentioned symptoms will NOT be allowed to enter the school.
